[Abstract]
The notion that buy low and sell high in stock markets is sometime also used to describe the equity mutual funds. The portfolio of the scheme or a fund perform according to the scrips that it has. The stocks perform as a result of their fundamentals in longer term. But outer shocks in forms of recessions, pandemic or wars create a misbalance in the fundamentals and the performance. This research has studied whether there is any impact of international shocks on multi cap category of the mutual fund starting from the year 2002 to 2020. This research has used ARCH and GARCH model to understand the volatility in returns of Equity schemes during those periods and whether they are being influenced by their own shocks. It was found that there is a significance impact of the outer shocks on the Multi cap portfolios of mutual funds. It has been found that the financial goals can only be achieved by consistently following and sticking to the asset allocation and judicious approach towards timing the assets may do wonders to the portfolio.

[Abstract]
Sustainability is the process of maintaining change in an equitable way, in which the exploitation of resources, the management of investment, the orientation of technological evolution and institutional diversification are all in sync. These all heighten both the current and future potential to satisfy human needs and desires. Sustainable agriculture is farming in sustainable ways based on an understanding of ecosystem services, the contemplation of relationships between organisms and their environment. Agriculture growth plays a pivotal role in curtail poverty in order to advance economic development and growth. Agricultural sector added 16.2 percent to Nation’s GDP in 2014-15 which is 1% more than 15.2 percent in the 11th plan. The population of the country is predicted to be somewhere around 1.6 billion by 2050. This would mean per capita availability of water, land and other defined natural resources will diminish. To deal with numerous problems and issues associated with agriculture, a task Force on Agricultural Development under the leadership of Vice-Chairman, NITI Aayog has been established. Jharkhand comprises of the agro-climatic zone VII (Eastern highland and mountainous region), branched into three subzones. Jharkhand’s climate ranges from dry semi humid to humid semi arid types with an annual downfall of 1200-1600 mm. Total tillable area in Jharkhand is about 48.67 percent. Government of Jharkhand was determined to establish an exclusive commission for food security and consequently the Department of food, public distribution and consumer affairs set up Jharkhand State Food Commission via notification number 1632 on 13th April 2017. Agricultural development has a hand in food security in numerous ways like contributing to food availability, access and stability through diversity of food produced and food utilization. There are many government schemes, policies and acts for securing the call for food of the people of Jharkhand.

[Abstract]
The idea of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), its concept, philosophy and its importance to the encompassing society of any organization isn’t a totally new concept for the Indian Companies. Even before independence, we had many companies and organizations in India, who operated their business with social responsibility & some philanthropic aspects. We now know that the essence and spirit of CSR is that, the corporates should voluntarily demonstrate their concerns towards the environmental , social, philanthropical , ethical & other sustainable issues simultaneously, together that on profit, and creating wealth for the owners , shareholders and stakeholders. The concept of overall stakeholders’ satisfaction & reciprocating back to society has now gained permanency. This has happened all the more important due to the provisions in the companies Act 2013, through Section 135 related to CSR activities. Corporates have now realized, that CSR is now not only a statutory provision, (for those corporates to which it has been made applicable), but also that its success & existence in future will depend a lot on the stakeholders view about its CSR initiatives. Many Companies are spending even more than the statutory requirement of 2% of average net profits of the last 3 preceding years. But we still have a long way to go. It is also seen that though there is plenty of information available on CSR spending of companies in India (particularly after introduction of section 135 in the Companies Act 2013) very little is known about the impact of their CSR practices & spending in the society on the target groups or on the beneficiaries. The main contribution of this paper is a structured review of the development of the concept of CSR and it highlights how the societal expectations, constructs & statutory framework of CSR have evolved particularly in India.

[Abstract]
Has economics an unconscious base? Sigmund Freud was one of the greatest intellectual figures of the 20th century, an Austrian neurological doctor of Jewish origin. Much of his work remains, to this day, highly controversial, where some point to his as a genius, while others highlight his alleged lack of scientific seriousness. Freud tries to give an explanation to the way mind operates, proposing a structure divided into three parts: the id, the ego and the superego. The Freudian theory covers several aspects of human psychic functioning, with a high preponderance the Austrian doctor gave to two points: the unconscious and the sensation of pleasure, repressed or not, in the interpretation of human comportment. Let's rescue the following paragraphs of Freud: The ID represents the primal impulses and constitutes the engine of human thought and comportment, motivation and our most primitive gratification desires. The SUPEREGO is the part that counteracts the id, representing moral and ethical thoughts. The EGO remains between them, and acts mediating between our primitive needs and our ethical and moral beliefs.

[Abstract]
This paper examines youth, higher education, and employment in the state of Jharkhand. It analyzes the implications of higher education on the employment of the region. It is based on a case study of Nilamber- Pitamber University (a state university) located at Medininagar, Jharkhand. Data were collected online in the months of June-July using Google form questionnaire and a total of 360 students from different colleges of the university responded to the questions. The questionnaire on the quality of higher education was divided into four categories – very low, low, medium, and high. In the primary survey, 21% of students responded that the quality of education is very low; 51% responded low; 24% responded to medium, and 4% responded to high. This study shows that the quality of education is very poor in the state and it has serious repercussions on its youth and their employment status in the state. Further, it shows that students are mostly inclined towards government jobs (73.89%) as found in the primary survey and they are preparing for it for a long period of time. Students unable to acquire a government job and lack of marketable skills for the corporate job have made them educated unemployed and it was concluded that these problems if not solved at its earliest, may lead to the demographic disaster in the state.

[Abstract]
As a result of globalization, the local and the international competition have increased and in order to survive this extensive competition, organizations need certain distinguishing elements that will cause their consumers to keep buying their products. In this era of enormous competition some of the traditional ways of attaining a competitive advantage such as price differentiation and product quality is no longer sufficient to ensure the success of a product. Corporates are now realizing that the worth of any organization is tied to its brands which are competent to satisfy the needs of the consumers. This study analyses the impact of brand awareness and brand loyalty on the consumer purchase decision for the FMCG products. The sample size for this study is 160 FMCG consumers of Bangalore city. A self-prepared questionnaire based on the literature was used for the study. Cronbach alpha coefficient was used for measuring the reliability of the questionnaire. Certain statistical techniques such as Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were used to test the different hypotheses.

[Abstract]
Boeing has been in collaboration with various suppliers all over the world who manufacture the parts and components for the aircrafts. But now the company is planning to implement vertical integration i.e., bringing the manufacturing activities in-house for some parts and cut on excess cost that their suppliers charge. Establishing a centre in India is a part of their cost cutting plan since the labour here is skilled and cheap. Not only this, it will help in losing some burden from other Boeing facilities in US by creating a similar facility in India that can run at a much lower cost. So the India centre is getting projects from the parent company but is still in the development phase. The major project objectives are to develop a Project Man-agement Tool capable of planning, execution, tracking and overall management of their In sourcing project to work with the team of Project managers who were responsible for plan-ning, execution and tracking of the entire project. This study becomes more relevant in recent times since due to the Corona virus pandemic, many countries like America, Europe, Canada, Australia etc have been hit with supply chain shocks as the flow of materials from China was disrupted. India being the biggest economy amongst the only five low cost coun-tries including Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil and Thailand and with the largest untapped potential for filling part of the supply chain vacuum that is created by exodus from China can definitely benefit from the situation.
